While it’s still eighty degrees outside in Bowling Green, KY, there’s nothing more exciting than seeing students come back to The Hill for the start of the Fall semester. It’s only a matter of time before scarves, pumpkin-flavored drinks and visits to Jackson’s Orchard become a routine weekend activity. Barbara Stewart Interiors wants to welcome back the students, faculty and staff to WKU with some local shopping inspiration and reminders of upcoming events in Downtown Bowling Green.

Football Essentials

Don’t show up at the next tailgate without the essentials. Barbara Stewart Interiors offers stylish clear stadium bags, WKU red S’well bottles, apparel and more to help make the most out of your Hilltopper tailgating experience.

Go above and beyond for your next tailgating party and consider WKU branded cocktail napkins. Spice up the snacks with some Mississippi Cheese Straws and sweeten the deal with Lemon Straws available in our food section at Barbara Stewart Interiors.

Downtown Offerings

There may be some construction going on Downtown, but that’s a good thing! The city of Bowling Green is revamping the beloved Fountain Square in preparation for our annual Downtown Lights Up event in early December. In the meantime, all the shops and restaurants are still accessible. Spend your afternoon studying and enjoying fresh coffee at Spencer’s Coffee, or shopping at the charming Back Down South boutique and Barbara Stewart Interiors. End you day indulging at Micki’s On Main restaurant (we recommend the Spring Rolls!) and RAW Cookie Dough for desert.

Harvest Festival and Pumpkin Spice Everything

Mark your calendars for the annual Harvest Festival taking place on October 18 at SoKY Marketplace behind SKyPAC. While enjoying the festivities, walk a few steps to Fountain Square and enjoy those previously mentioned “Downtown Offerings.” At Barbara Stewart Interiors, we love all things pumpkin spice, especially our Pumpkin Chai Candle. End you Harvest Festival experience with pumpkin-flavored candies and scented goodies from 444 E. Main Ave.

We Cater to Busy People

While construction continues on Fountain Square, we want to remind our customers that we cater to those on-the-go. Can’t find a parking space on the Square? No problem! Call us ahead of time and we’ll bring items to your car for pick-up, or we can direct you to where there’s convenient parking nearby. Don’t forget that we act as personal shoppers for those who don’t have the time to peruse our store. One call to our retail shop and we’ll put together a gift for any occasion on your behalf (and we’ll gift wrap it… FOR FREE).
